Probably because I am Bluebell. I was just speaking with Miss Coco about a particular matter the other day, and her suggestion was kissing too. At least until Miss Daisy interrupted.

[He had every intention of tugging him down by his tie... but he supposes this works. It is a little less 'cool' when he has to lower himself because he is just so tall compared to him. In the end, though, it isn't about how cool or romantic anything might truly be. It is about ensuring the spell works.

Otherwise, if something happens again... Leviathan could be hurt or trapped in a difficult situation. And he...entrusted this to him. He will see it through properly, even if his heart does ache a little.

Bending down he cups his cheeks carefully within his gentle hands. He watches him for a moment, his eyes shifting between those mismatched ones that stare back at him, as though making sure this is truly okay, and he is ready. No protest arises, and after his gaze lingers a moment more, he follows through.

Eyes closing, his lips press softly against Leviathan, his mouth velvet and warm as a bittersweet ache intensifies in his heart. It is accompanied by an electric thrill. He can feel his pulse racing in his veins and a heady heat rise to his cheeks. Subtly, his fingers shift, one hand threading into his hair to curl. The other continues to cup his cheek in his palm. His mouth parts and he deepens the kiss, tasting his lips and seeking more. Behind them are those razer sharp teeth- a thrill he never experienced on that day with the pins.

Surely this should be enough to satisfy the requirements of the spell.]

[In hindsight, Levi should have anticipated that Crescendo would go all in with this.

He thinks perhaps he should pull away. It isn't right to give the boy hope for the sort of relationship he denied. But at the same time he wants the spell to succeed. He's done his best to avoid anything that might keep that from happening up until now and he isn't about to ruin it at the last possible moment.

So he lets his little cat do as he pleases without resisting, though he also doesn't return much affection beyond what's necessary to keep it from seeming as if the other teen is kissing a statue. He doesn't want to make the experience awful.

Crescendo is a sweet boy and he'll never be able to give him what he wants because he doesn't have the capacity for it.]

[As much as he might want it to mean something-- anything at all to Leviathan, in the end, it feels a little hollow. The excitement fades to something a little empty. Maybe it is the knowledge that he just doesn't look at him in such a light.

He isn't blind to the lack of reciprocation. He wasn't entirely still, but it wasn't as though he was moved by the gesture, either. When he pulls back, his cheeks are a little warm.]

. . . You are not a very good kisser, Leviathan-san.

[It makes him feel better to say. He can turn it into a joke.]

But hopefully, that should be enough for the sake of the spell.

[The merman smiles, remaining pleasant to try and keep up Crescendo's mood.]

It would have been a waste not to have the person helping me benefit if it was possible to make that happen, and there were a limited number of people with whom I'd be willing to share this particular gift. I'd hate to see you go back to Red for another potion once yours had run out.

And there are also a very limited number of people I would be willing to trust my body with, so thank you for taking such good care of it.

Well, I did not over-indulge. I would not have wished to upset your stomach. But I attempted to satiate my appetite.

You would have found it rather difficult to over-indulge where I'm concerned.

You should eat more if your body requires it. I know you worried about things before, but as Rose's shepherd, you must be in top form at all times in case of an emergency. It appears that spring is on the horizon, and the animals are appearing again too, so you should be able to find much more.
